The Modern Dance Music Research and Archiving Foundation is a collaborative effort to preserve dance music.

Our mission is to promote, research, celebrate, preserve, interpret and disseminate information about the lives, histories and culture of House and Dance Music Pioneers to the global community.

The Modern Dance Music Research and Archiving Foundation is located within Shorefront Legacy Center (www.shorefrontlegacy.org)  in Evanston Illinois. Our repository is available by appointment only. The Dance Music Foundation is eager to review, digitize, organize and/or house your digital or physical ephemera that focuses on the history and culture of House Music.
